Our newly renovated Margarita & Tequila Bar is open for business!
General Contractor Speigelglass Construction Co. of Maryland Heights worked with Hacienda on the bar renovation. Also involved was Jermain Todd, owner of Mwanzi, a sustainable woodworking company based in St. Louis. Todd refinished pine siding salvaged from a century-old barn in nearby Gerald, Mo. and used it to clad the bar façade and two, floor-to-ceiling accent walls.
Behind the rustic bar, a state-of-the-art tequila display showcases an expanded collection of carefully curated blanco, reposado and anejo tequilas in a kaleidoscope of ornate bottles. Overhead, acoustical ceiling tiles made from recycled metal provide high light reflectance to reduce the number of light fixtures needed, curbing the energy consumed by the bar’s upgraded, energy-efficient LED lighting. And throughout the space, low- and no-VOC (volatile organic compound) paints and finishes mean cleaner indoor air for the bar’s customers
